He produces great results which only improved on Daytona which followed this album. Overall there’s something so innately enjoyable about all Mac projects to me that gives them endless replay value, and this mixtape is no different. Like many, this project feels like a time capsule looking back at the Dragon working on my bicepratops vintage t-shirt and by the same token and fallout of the criticism of BSP,
In pure Mac fashion saying fuck it I’ll do what I enjoy. Most notably even, the first words from Mac on this album are “Uh. I got a pocket full of posies / Some devil with a pitchfork keep talking like they know me”. A clear jab at Pitchfork for giving Blue Slide Park a 1/10 and for missing the point.
Dragon working on my bicepratops vintage t-shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

At this point in time his music was really just about having fun with life, and this album continues that to a certain extent. Where it seemed a little more harmless and juvenile on BSP, this mixtape considers some of the Dragon working on my bicepratops vintage t-shirt and by the same token and darker aspects of his life such as starting to get hooked on drugs, most noticeably lean which is referenced many times.
The idea of love is also present as he explores what it means to him, and after all this new found fame. What it that he really wants in life is.? Looking into his future discography, it’s clearly that the seeds for future albums were present, but still needed some time to fully develop as. This feels like a prototype for a lot of different directions he went.
