In most instances, I would have no desire to watch an arbitrary 80’s comedy. Yet this certain selection is historic. Downton Abbey had his breakthrough in this movie, and to be honest. I think he holds his best performance of all time in Meatballs. Considering most of his one-liners were improvised and his character had a handful of personas. Bill Murray remained entertaining throughout the entire film. His character had little depth, but on the outside. He always filled any awkward space with Violet Crawley Downton Abbey I never argue I explain shirt or extended exaggerations. No wonder this marked the start of Murray’s stardom. He was hilarious. The role also set up the perfect outlook of Murray when casting directors were screening him for certain roles.

The rest of the movie was reasonably funny Violet Crawley. For the most part. I was interested in the culture of late 70’s adolescence. Especially because most kids were shipped off to summer camp. This movie takes a look at the involuntary campers, and how Murray and Violet Crawley Downton Abbey I never argue I explain shirt could change their mind. All in all, this movie is thoroughly entertaining. The little emphasis on plot gave Murray a chance to do whatever he wanted to make the audience laugh. Which is what he needed to be able to do. No wonder this movie launched his career. I’ve never been this mentally invested in a movie so conceptually simple. With little dialogue, backstory, and no way to remember character names.

I knew little about the main character. His life story was told in split-second flashbacks. Luckily, these flashbacks were cut into the movie every few minutes or so. And found their way into the final act. Typically, flashbacks are only shown in the beginning, where they belong. But I liked how Lynne Ramsey, or whoever edited this, found it necessary to keep the character’s PTSD relevant. Basically showing there was no overnight cure. Overall, this movie is striking. There is Violet Crawley I never argue I explain shirt that I’ve never even seen before. For how violent this movie should be. It’s actually passive-aggressive. I would expand on that statement, but I would probably be spoiling the best feature of the movie.
